We feature a recent addition to  Sierra Wireless’s product range:- the AirPrime™ SL Series intelligent embedded modules, designed to suit the needs of manufacturers of small host devices in high-volume production.

Sierra Wireless AirPrime SL Series

The Sierra Wireless AirPrime™ SL Series intelligent embedded modules offer the scalability, flexibility and reliability needed to take your connected devices into the future.
The product is currently available in footprint compatible EDGE (SL6087) and HSDPA (SL808x) versions with migration path from GSM to 3G.
Sharing the same standard 25 x 30 mm LGA form factor, the AirPrime SL6087 features quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) EDGE connectivity while the AirPrime SL808x modules offer high-speed dual-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity (up to 3.6 Mbps downlink) and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE network access.
AirPrime SL6087 sample units will be available soon with SL808x samples expected Q4 2010.

Maestro Wireless Solutions’Heritage Modem with Expansion Boards

The Heritage modem from Maestro Wireless Solutions offers GSM/GPRS/EDGE technologies in an industrial grade design with pluggable boards for diverse M2M applications.
Maestro Heritage Modem is available with the following boards for specific applications: -GPS Board, I/O Board, Ethernet Board, Bluetooth Board,Wavenis Board and Analog Board.
With customizable hardware and software, the Heritage modem offers a tailored solution for market needs.

REMINDER: End of Life – Fastrack Supreme

M2M Connectivity would like to remind all customers of the End Of Life of the Fastrack Supreme 10 and Fastrack Supreme 20.  We will require confirmed orders to be placed by June 30, 2010. It is our intention to hold stock to the end of December 2010 depending on stock availability.
The Fastrack Supreme has been replaced by theAirLink Fastrack Xtend Programmable Gateways:

Using the RB411U router board
A versatile yet very small device, the RB411U router board includes all – a miniPCI slot, a USB 2.0 port and a miniPCI-E slot for connecting a 3G card and is fully compatible with Sierra Wireless MC8790 and MC8795.
RouterOS, the operating system supports different tools for configurations such as API, Web interface and Winbox. Winbox is the most widely used tool for configurations.This tool is used for accessing the RouterBoard configuration and management features, using graphical user interface (GUI). Winbox can be downloaded from here.
