connectBlue iPhone / iOS Accessory Module OBS414 Demonstration times: May31 at 11am / June1 at 3pm / June2 at 11am. This connectBlue module will be used in a demonstration showing the results of a wireless pulse/oxygen meter displayed on an iPhone/iPad.
Opengear ACM5004G Demonstration times: May31 at 3pm/ June1 at 11am / June2 at 3pm Opengear will demonstrate the main features of this next generation cellular router, including routing capabilities, security options, power monitoring and control, environmental monitoring, digital I/O, online alerts and triggers.

connectBlue OBS414 iPhone/iOS Accessory
The connectBlue OBS414 is a Bluetooth module with support for the Serial Port Profile (SPP) for fast and secure transparent serial data transmissions and the ability to connect to Apple iOS devices such as iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
This module has the Apple Authentication co-processor build in, and supports the iPod Accessory Protocol. This simplifies the development of an iOS accessory to a minimum. The module is fully Bluetooth qualified and radio type approved and has the connectBlue™ standard interface for compatibility over time and radio technologies.

Procedures for downloading and starting an Open AT application
To download & start using your OpenAT application, there are two commands you need to issue.
AT+WDWL & AT+WOPEN Command
AT+WDWL command switches the serial port to download mode, where your OpenAT application will be downloaded using 1K-Xmodem protocol.
In firmware version R74 & above, UART2 & USB port also supports AT+WDWL command.
AT+WOPEN command performs start, stop, delete, configuration & gets information on the OpenAT application.
The procedure is as follows:
For windows machines, use Hyper Terminal & under Transfer->Send Files choose 1K-Xmodem protocol
AT+CFUN=1 Resets the modem
AT+WOPEN=1 Starts the application
AT+WOPEN=7 Check your application running state
If it returns with +WOPEN: 7, 12 then your application were started successfully.
