Welcome to the first edition of Connected for 2011. We anticipate exciting new  developments this year  including M2M Connectivity’s imminent launch of M2MOne.
M2MOne will be a  provider of SIM Cards and 3G Wireless Data services for the M2M (Machine to Machine) industry in Australia delivering all that is required to get connected to the 3G network as well as tools to help accelerate testing and deployment. Please stay tuned for more details of M2MOne.
Sierra Wireless’s Open AT Course scheduled  May 3-5 for Melbourne has been postponed and will run in June with two courses offered – one in Melbourne and one in Sydney.  Dates are still to be confirmed and an update will be sent with new details.

Quake Q4000 Orbcomm+Cellular+GPS Modem

Quake Q4000The Q4000 combines dual-mode operability over both the ORBCOMM® satellite constellation and GSM terrestrial network with GPS global tracking in one all encompassing versatile remote asset tracking solution.
The Q4000 has an easy-to-use turn-key application for quick set-up for basic tracking and monitoring solutions as well as a flexible application programming interface (API). The auto-roaming feature allows customer data to be sent even when out of cellular coverage.
Compact, low profile, flexible and user friendly, the Q4000 is integrated with a 50-channel GPS receiver and on-board microprocessor and memory as well as CAN bus, memory, antenna detection, multiple analog and digital inputs/outputs and relays.

A self-contained flexible solution designed for multiple applications, the Q-Pro can cost-effectively retrieve data automatically from remote sites and can be used to effectively monitor and manage mobile assets

connectBlue OBI411 Bluetooth I/O Module with iPhone/Android and Analog I/O Support

connectBlue OBI411 Bluetooth I/O moduleThe OEM BLUETOOTH IO MODULE 411 series is a Bluetooth module implementing wireless IO functionality. The module has support for 16 digital IOs and 4 AD converters, which can be controlled via either IO signals or via a serial IO protocol, for example using an iPhone or Android phone and application. Since the Bluetooth stack is embedded in the module it does not require any driver or stack in your host so that you can be up and running in the shortest possible time.

The Dude network monitor is an application by MikroTik designed to dramatically improve the way you manage your network environment. The Dude is capable of monitoring particular services run on the network hosts, and alerting you about any changes in their status. It will automatically scan all devices within specified subnets, draw and layout a map of your networks, monitor services of your devices and alert you in case some service has problems.
