M2M Connectivity

APRIL EDITION OF CONNECTED

April 2013

The trend in data growth is fuelled by the higher speeds available as networks migrate towards 4G/LTE, by the resulting new applications developed for these speeds and the growth of M2M and IoT.  Recognizing the benefits to business, M2M service providers and customers are contributing to the rapid growth of software tools for manipulating and analyzing data.  Innovative ways data is being used range from customer service and information to processes for easier and cost effective management of large scale M2M deployments.

We anticipate a busy time next month with trade shows. M2M Connectivity and Sierra Wireless will be exhibiting at Optus Vision 2013 featuring AirVantage M2M Cloud and its two components. The  AirVantage Management Services component is an application that simplifies and scales M2M operations and the AirVantage Enterprise Platform provides access to data using cloud for fast M2M development. We will also be showcasing the AirLink GX400, AirPrime embedded modules and Opengear’s new gateway featured below.

These will be featured again as part of an extensive range of products when M2M Connectivity exhibits at CeBIT later in the month. Further information and registration for free entry to either of these events is in this newsletter.
