Tech Tip

Tech Tip: How to test voice on MC7304 before VoLTE firmware is available.

  1. 1.  The firmware on the module needs to be version The latest will not work for voice or CSD data calls.
  2. 2.  The module needs to be set to only register using 3G technology. (This can be done using AT!SELRAT=01 and then AT!RESET)
  3. 3.  Note that any issues found for voice on will not be corrected in a sub version, but rather the next major FW branch. (Expected around April onward)
