Tech Tip

Smart One Configuration Software

Version 1.0.8 of the Smartone Configuration Software should be used for all future Smartone programming.

The latest version of the Smartone Programming tool can be downloaded from Smartone downloads here.
Please change the extension of the downloaded file to .rar and then extract the file to get access to the installer.
After installing the latest version of the tool (Version 1.0.8), it is important that any profiles created with previous versions of the programming tool are discarded and new profiles are created using the latest programming tool.
This directive from Globalstar is due to some inconsistencies in hardware behaviour when older profiles are used with the latest programming tool.
