Australian carriers are spending billions upgrading their networks to high-speed 4G LTE services. According to the OpenSignal report on the State of LTE 2014, Australia’s 4G LTE networks deliver the fastest download speeds in the world with a ninth ranking for 4G LTE coverage. Australians are experiencing on average 4G LTE download speeds of 24.5Mbps 58% of the time with likely to fall back to 3G speeds.
