NEW Q-Puck from Quake Global

The Q-Puck is an Iridium Satellite modem and antenna in one housing. Offering an uncomplicated and efficient, out-of-the-box global satellite solution with effortless connection to Iridium’s Satellite Network,  the Q-Puck is fully qualified and certified to operate through harsh environments.
The simple installation and integration of the Q-Puck optimizes time-to-market, significantly reducing development time and costs. It  is also ideal for use in applications for the rapidly growing M2M market, including remote asset tracking and monitoring solutions.Available at the end of the year, the Q-Puck will be a feature of M2M Connectivity’s showcase at CeBIT on  stand C40.

Sierra Wireless AirLink GX400 with ALEOS

The Sierra Wireless AirLink GX400 is a multi-purpose intelligent gateway. A “one device fits all” solution, it simplifies deployment and management of the same device for multiple applications. This small, rugged 3G Gateway offers multiple interfaces and standard GPS to provide high-value versatility for any location-aware application.
The versatile GX400 offers 3G mobile broadband connectivity and  is designed for use in mobile environments (AVL/tracking, field service, public safety) or fixed/portable settings (industrial, utilities, security, enterprise, point-of-sale). A powerful ARM 11 class micro-processor and the addition of an expansion slot, leave room for growth via support for additional connection or communications options and future technologies.  These include WiFi which is available now and dual ethernet ports  which will be available in the near future.
Powered by ALEOS™ embedded intelligence and managed by the AirLink Management Service, the GX400 comes with a 5 year warranty.

NEW Sierra Wireless AirPrime Q2698

The Sierra Wireless Q2698 penta band module (on show at CeBIT) offers 3G HSPA+, integrated GPS and supports the new Open AT Application Framework on 3G.
The Q2698 is programmable enabling the development of embedded M2M applications with the Open AT Application Framework.  Customers using AirPrime Q Series modules can seamlessly migrate from 2G to 3G using same hardware platform design and embedded application. The Q2698 supports Embedded SIM (SON8) and Linux/Windows/Android and will have Global certification (Europe/US/Australia/Japan). The Q2698 is part of the Q26 Series product family with the same mechanical design to the existing 3G Q26EX001 module.

CeBIT runs from May 22nd to 24th at the Sydney Convention Centre at Darling Harbour.  M2M will be at stand no. C40, showcasing new cellular and satellite products including:

Opengear ACM5504-5-G-I RIM Gateway
Demonstration times:
May 22 at 3pm and May 23 at 11am
Brendan Baker from Opengear will be introducing Opengear’s new ACM5500
RIM Gateway appliance. It offers a remote infrastructure management solution for monitoring and management of both Information Technology and Operational Technology.  With built-in 3G cellular access, enterprise-grade security and support for both ethernet and serial managed devices, the ACM5500 is the first fully automated remote management solution to provide secure access to, and control of, all the infrastructure at critical remote sites..
M2M Control Centre
Demonstration times: May 23 at 3pm and May 24  at 11am

M2M One will be presenting their products and demonstrating the key features of the Control Centre, including SIM card states, a range of networking options and diagnostics capabilities.
connectBlue Bluetooth Low Energy OLP425 Module
Demonstration times: May 24 at 3pm
This iPad demonstration features the cB-OLP425, a Bluetooth low energy single-mode platform module. It is easy to add on extras including a battery holder, temperature sensor, accelerometers and other sensors. The Ti embedded processor on the module makes the OLP425 a complete stand-alone product, with no additional hardware required.
