The AirLink® MP70 is a high performance, LTE-Advanced vehicle router developed specifically for mobile
mission critical applications in public safety, transit and field services. It is the 1st Airlink Product to support
LTE 700Mhz (B28) on the Telstra and Optus Networks.
Offering high power, long range Gigabit Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet, and up to 300 Mbps downlink speed
over LTE-Advanced, the AirLink MP70 unites the fleet with the enterprise network and enables multiple field
applications to work simultaneously, further and faster from the vehicle than ever before.
The MP70 offers an integrated mobile events engine to monitor hundreds of router, network, and connected
vehicle parameters in real time, and create custom alerts, event triggers and reports. Reports and alerts are synchronised with third party server platforms or AirLink network management software to enable centralised
and remote management of critical events.
The MP70 supports advanced remote visibility and instant insight into the vehicle area network (VAN), field
applications and assets, and the mobile workforce. Purpose built for the vehicle, the MP70 delivers superior
reliability and uninterrupted operation in harsh mobile environments – the Inertial Navigation System continues to
provide positioning information when the GNSS is unable to acquire satellites. This enables tracking through urban canyons, tunnels and underground parking.
Developed with industrial grade components, and has a customised die cast aluminium housing to manage the
thermal output from its high performance LTE-Advanced and Wi-Fi radios. The MP70 is sealed to meet IP64 for resistance to dust and water ingress, and is tested to meet and exceed the MIL-STD-810G specifications for shock, vibration, temperature and humidity.
LibeliumWaspmote – Plug & Sense! loggers can be configured to send data toeagle.io in a few easy steps. Waspmotes can communicate directly, or use a Meshlium to connect large sensor networks.
Using eagle.io, sensor data transmitted by Libelium Plug and sense devices can be remotely visualised in
dashboards. Users can set licence limits and receive notifications by email or sms when limits are exceeded.
Eagle.io can be used to validate that data is transmitting to the cloud in the field using a smart-phone.

From early June, customers using the Meshlium will be able to select the Eagle.io cloud service by selecting from
the drop down menu in the Meshlium set-up.

OBD/J1979 is a messaging standard, used in light and medium-duty vehicles to report vehicle diagnostics
information as well as other real-time vehicle information. ODB-II, an enhanced protocol over OBD, has been a mandatory standard for all cars sold in the United States since 1996.
Vehicle data that can be queried using OBD is organised in standard and proprietary parameters. Each parameter has a unique identifier called a “PID” and is part of each OBD message.
The OBD-II standard uses a 16-pin connector (SAE J1962) supporting physical layer protocols such as CAN
(ISO 15765-4), CAN SAE J1939, SAE J1850, ISO 9142-2, and ISO 14230-4.Now the ODB-II Service can be
used in conjunction with the AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) products IDP-782 and SG-7100.
