Melbourne, Australia – March 3, 2010: M2M Connectivity, distributors of a full range of leading cellular and satellite modules and modems for wireless machine-to-machine (“M2M”) communications in Australia and New Zealand will be at Ozwater’10 showcasing a range of products which can be specifically used for the water industry.
Informative demonstrations will be conducted by Jedd Forbes of Outpost Central using the Aura-CG Coronis Wavenis GSM/GPRS Gateway designed specifically for water monitoring. Outpost Central is a market leader in providing simple technology solutions for collecting remote water consumption information from water meters and interfacing them directly to a web site so that water companies and other interested parties can monitor usage, provide accurate and timely billing, and identify any issues. The Aura-CG is a low cost gateway that collects data from Coronis Wavenis meters & sensors and communicates directly to the web over GPRS/EDGE networks. Jedd will demonstrate how the meter information collected by the Coronis sensor is sent to the Aura-CG gateway and reported over a GPRS network and how this information can be presented on a web site.
