The Sierra Wireless AirLink Fastrack Xtend provides a highly extendable platform for the creation of a wide range of M2M solutions featuring a slot for expansion cards enabling the addition of extra functionalities such as ethernet and GPS. Alternatively, developers can develop their own board to add Zigbee and Bluetooth. The Fastrack Xtend also comes with both RS232 and USB interfaces and provides twin antennae supporting RX diversity for 3G models. It is powered with an external supply or via USB if the optional battery is used.
The Sierra Wireless AirLink Fastrack Xtend integrates a powerful ARM9 32-bit CPU and is programmable with any combination of AT commands, or embed an Open AT C/C++/ Lua application to transform it into your own standalone product. The Fastrack Xtend wireless modem is available with inSIM® embedded SIM for better resistance to harsh environments.
