Hirschmann produce individually adapted and optimized antenna systems for Iridium, Orbcomm, and GPS applications, including integrated combination antennas
The company developed the world’s first mobile radio antenna to be integrated in the rear bumper, for example, and also did pioneering work in modular antenna systems for the rear window which combine radio and TV reception with phone, satellite navigation and radio-controlled central locking. Hirschmann now supplies such systems as a development partner for the automobile manufacturers to Audi, BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, General Motors and VW, to name just a few.
