MELBOURNE, Australia, Nov. 26, 2021, Peplink, a connectivity company specialized in enabling highly resilient and scalable networks anywhere, has announced that it has seen large growth in market demand for its 5G hardware in Australia, resulting in the expansion of its partnership with M2M Connectivity.
Peplink, one of the world’s leading vendors of high-speed wireless solutions – specialising in SD-WAN technology, including 5G and LTE edge routers announced its new partnership with M2M in March when M2M was appointed Value Added Distributor for Australia.
Keith Chau, General Manager of Peplink, said: “The trend we are seeing in Australia is consistent with what we are seeing in many regions around the world. COVID is accelerating the adoption of 5G technologies and the types of industries seeking out these technologies is diversifying.”
“As a company which prides itself on providing some of the most reliable LTE and 5G devices in the world, we are pleased to see demand for our products increasing in Australia thanks to key partners such as M2M, and to be able to play our part in helping businesses stay connected as they transition out of the pandemic,” Keith adds.
As a result of market growth, M2M is expanding its portfolio of Peplink devices to now include the MBX, MAX & DOME series designed to enable enterprise mobility — as well as the Balance series, which is designed for large organisations. A key addition will be the robust MAX range of devices built for rugged environments.
“COVID has created a unique environment where reliability and speed of connectivity have become non-negotiable across a range of industries. Businesses are no longer happy to rely on just fixed line connections, which often fail, and want to be able to operate using 5G,” says Josh Velling, Director Channel Sales at M2M Connectivity who was appointed in April to lead M2M’s Peplink program.
“At the same time, businesses are looking for more cost-effective solutions when compared to those offered by larger, more established players in the Australian market,” adds Velling. “We have seen great demand in devices from industries including construction, emergency services, broadcast, and pop-up health clinics.”Josh Velling, M2M Connectivity Channel Manager
